Boost Your Productivity and Effectiveness By Waking Up Early

You may be thinking that this is very basic stuff – waking up early. Well, when you wake up early, you practice commitment.

So many men are afraid to commit. I’m talking about marriage. I’m talking about sticking to one sex partner the rest of your life. A lot of guys have a tough time with commitment because it means total devotion.

Believe it or not, when you commit to even small stuff like waking up early, not eating certain types of food, or doing certain things at certain times, you practice your power of commitment. This is one of the most powerful skills you could ever develop.

Because life is full of challenges. There are many things that happen in life that can throw us off track and make us forget our plans. You probably don’t need me to remind you of this. We experience setbacks, disappointments and challenges.

But when you make it a point to enhance your power of commitment, even by doing something as basic as waking up early, you strengthen your “commitment muscles.”

This ability to commit can then be applied to other areas of your life. For example, when you make a promise, you can commit to that promise and actually follow through. When you commit to your boss that you will work 8 solid hours daily, you can deliver 8 solid hours of work.

You have to understand that the world rewards people who are able to commit. That’s how we select our leaders. That’s how we select people to promote and give raises. That’s how people select life partners. It’s all about commitment.

And one of the easiest and most basic ways to do this is to simply commit to waking up early. When you do this, there’s a chain reaction that takes place that triggers other life skills.
