Winter Sun Holidays

If you continue to dream of summer throughout the winter months then why not make it a reality. With low cost flights available, getting a little bit of sunshine to help you through the winter months has never been easier. All you have to do is pick your perfect destination.

Cayman Islands

Located in the Caribbean the three islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman have much to offer visitors. Grand Cayman is home to the world famous Seven Mile Beach. This cresent shaped stretch of soft white sand looking onto clear warm waters.  Away from that you can find fantastic restaurants and nightlife as well as opportunities to explore the breath taking underwater sites. There’s plenty of wildlife in Stingray City and you can enjoy the plants in the QEII Botanical Park.

While Grand Cayman will be your primary base, if you like adventure and getting off the beaten track then Cayman Brac offers exploration in caves and fishing in the waters.

Little Cayman is the least developed of the islands. If has more than 50 dive sites off the coast and a Nature reserve to view the native birds.

Abu Dhabi

While most people think of Dubai when considering the UAE, Abu Dhabi is the capital city. While it still features a number of modern developments, it retains at its heart a culture and traditions. As you might expect from an emirate, there is plenty of luxury on offer. You can enjoy the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World or visit Yas Island which features a Formula 1 Grand Prix track. For a more relaxing day then you can take in the spectacular sites of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

The land of the Pharaohs can provide some relaxing times at the Red Sea either lazing on the beach or scuba diving or you could take in the amazing culture offered by this ancient country. While the summer weather can be uncomfortably hot, winter sun holidays provide a much more palatable temperature.  To take in the history visit Cairo, a city closely connected to the 110 Pyramids located in the area and the nearby Giza.

The Bahamas

For the best of every water-based activity imaginable then you have to visit the Bahamas. The crystal clear oceans are well utilised with some amazing activities on offer. You can swim with Dolphins in Bimini with the resident pod or you can spend time with those living in Fresh Creek, Andros. If sailing floats your boat, then the 700 islands offer some amazing coves, spectacular views and modern marinas. Of course you may prefer to remain on the long stretches of beach.
