How to Earn Money from the Leveling System of Maplestory

Maplestory is a free to play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that has its roots in Korea. This game purportedly has more than 87 million players worldwide, who are attracted to its 2D format, giving it an old-school feel that’s a breeze to play. From Korea, MapleStory has branched into many countries as more and more gamers pick up on it through the Internet. Now there are gaming servers or versions throughout the world such as JapanMS, GlobalMS, TaiwanMS, and even EuropeMS. In MapleStory, there are four worlds or areas of gameplay – Maple Island, Victoria Island, Ossyria, and Masteria. These four continents are common across all versions of MapleStory. Players basically fight off monsters and non-player characters to earn items, experience points, and virtual money called Mesos. If you want to buy accessories and other items for your MapleStory character, you can go to the Cash Shop and use NX Cash to purchase what you want. NX Cash can also be purchased using real-world denomination payable through credit card or Paypal. Players earn money by going through the different levels and quests in the game. Here are just a few steps on how to earn money in MapleStory.
Earning Mesos, experience points, and other items
Step 1: Train at Maple Island.
Everybody has to pass through this first continent before progressing on to the others. Maple Island is like that training ground that has easy to defeat monsters and NPCs as well. Though the quests here are low-level, players can leave after earning 150 mesos and a certification of their having been trained on Maple Island.
Step 2: Fight and loot in the other continents.
Once a player has left Maple Island, he or she can now engage in mesos-rich games in the other continents. Aside from mesos, players can also gain EXPs, other items, and higher levels of Fame.
Step 3: Play minigames.
In between fights against monsters or NPCs, players can also earn some amount of income in the minigames. These mini-tourneys have a lot to offer for players who just want to improve their skills while having a short respite from the original game.
Step 4: Sign up for free NX Cash reward sites.
Players can also get to earn NX Cash, or that currency used to buy stuff in MapleStory through external sources. There are websites that you can register in and they will ask you to answer surveys, sign up for other sites, and other tasks. After you’ve done all that they ask for, the NX Cash code will then be emailed to you so you can use it to purchase stuff in the Cash Shop.
MapleStory is indeed a fascinating game that allows you to practice your analytical skills and at the same time earn real money through various techniques. Once you’ve mastered the basics of this game, making money becomes easier.
