A luxury Swiss hotel has just been named home of the most beautiful interior design in Europe. The Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, was recognised during the International Hotel Awards when is won the prestigious European Award Best Hotel Interior 2012 title.
The purpose behind the International Hotel Awards is to recognise and honour outstanding achievements and performances in the Hotel and Hospitality industry. The top international projects and designs are judged by a panel of industry experts, and awards are given in several different categories. The International Hotel Awards are officially presented at a ceremony in London.
The five-star Hotel Schweizerhof is one of the most luxurious accommodation options available in Bern; the 150-year-old hotel was completely renovated recently and has gone from strength to strength since it reopened for business in June last year. The new Hotel Schweizerhof is part of the exclusive alliance of Leading Hotels in the World (LHW), and boasts the following luxury features:
