Step #2: Avoid munching food while watching TV

If you are planning to watch your favorite TV show, you should not grab junk food. Eating while watching TV in the living room is a certified couch potato lifestyle. This is why you should avoid the temptation of doing these things.

Step #3: Engage in physical activities

Watching television is not the only activity that you could enjoy. Engaging in sports is also a fun way to spend your free time. Engaging in sports can make you fit and healthy.

Step #4: Go out and have fun with your friends

Staying at home can limit the activities that you can do. This is why you should hang out with your friends. You can invite your friends swimming or bowling or even shopping. The most important thing is that you got to move around.

    A lot of people nowadays are “couch potatoes’. One of the reasons for this phenomenon is because many of us think that we deserve to have a break at our homes after a hard days work, thus we slouch in front of the tv or computer and food bingeing instead of doing something. However, since this is not very healthy then maybe we can put a limit on the number of hours that we spent in front of the tv or computer. Then have a mindset of doing something proactive like doing some chores around the house, or maybe working out for a few minutes or spending some time with the neighbors or other stuff that takes us away from sitting down and stuffing ourselves with food. Open your eyes to the bitter truth that “relaxing” as what you call it is hazardous, and you’d be better off doing something much more relaxing and rewarding other than watching T.V and eating lots and lots of unhealthy food.
