My Mom always told me that the best way to organize your Refrigerator is before you even buy it. That is because, before buying, you should carefully assess its size and capacity according to your needs. Does it have enough space? Does it have proper compartments? All of these are factors once you in organizing your refrigerators. And Items that are not required to be put inside should be kept outside to provide space for other items. And also, to prevent bad odor or smell from developing inside your fridge, try to put some charcoal inside. By putting charcoal, the undesirable scents are soaked up by it, thanks to its porous property.

Our house had a termite infestation when it was new. Almost each and every month, a small portion of our house would get torn or have a hole, as if someone punched right through it. One thing that I learned from the local carpenters around the neighborhood is that it is always better to use wood that is commonly labeled as “termite resistant”, most common examples are redwood, cedar and juniper, as they are hard and are less favorable to termites. And also, use sand that have large granules and place it around the wooden parts. This make it tough for the termites to chew through it as they are large and heavy for the termites to carry.

Lice are a nuisance. Period. Though unlike dog fleas and ticks, they are less likely to develop immunity against chemical treatments. Something I would like to add though, sometimes fine combs just aren’t enough to deal with them, some lice actually stick to your scalp/hair so hard that they are hard to comb off. In this case, you can buy specially-formulated combs and shampoos meant to kill and prevent lice infestation. Follow the steps above and your child would really have a good night’s sleep

Always be sure when going on a vacation, especially if you have important stuff at home, to lock things up. And also keep in mind, burglars are smart and sneaky, especially nowadays when your life is practically an open book.
